Riding outside of the prepared pistes, playing with the land and enjoying yourself in the powder, that’s what  freeride is about! But, careful and serious training is a must, there is no improvisation when it comes to freeride. The Swiss ski school and the Freeride world tour (FWT) have come together to offer you a unique programme taking place throughout the winter expecially for children from 8-16 years old.

The aim is to better understand freeride and fundamental off-piste behaviours in a safe environment, beginning with a bit of technical training and alpine skiing, then a bit of freestyle, finally coming to freeride and its concepts of security and safety.

During the entire season, professionals and pro-riders will take it in turns accompanying our young riders. What’s more, at the end of the season each member of the academy will participate in real freeride contest with judges, a photographer and prizegiving, an unforgettable experience for everyone!
